About

This layout came was inspired by the Celtic myth in Winx Club. Season 4 has the most mythology references in the series, at least that I've noticed. So as I was watching the second half of season 4, the mythology geek inside me was having a field day. For example Tir Nan Og is clearly suposed to be T�r na n�g, and Morgana is the Queen of the Fairies. Morgana = Morgan le Fay, which is King Arthur, but King Arthur is Celtic Myth.

Anyway, the title "Echtra agus Immram" is Irish for "Echtra and Immram". At least it is according to Google Translate. Echtra(i) refers to Old Irish tales about journies in the Otherworld, such as T�r na n�g, and according to Wikipedia, echtra was the word for adventure in Old Irish. Immram(a) tell of a journey by sea to the Otherworld, such as T�r na n�g, and were generally written in the Christian era, but with aspects of Irish myth.

So yeah, I went all out with the Irish.
